Operational Director


Join Kynerja for an opportunity to drive the successful business outcomes for multiple consulting projects associated with our world class clients. The Operational Director role helps drive Kynerja's growth through top-notch customer relationship management, while putting a special focus on customer success and strategic planning. This role will ultimately drive the project(s) for any given customer(s) while simultaneously be on the lookout for additional upsell opportunities within our target accounts.​

  1. Work directly with our clients throughout the life-cycle of the engagement such as providing quotations, managing resources availabilities and providing support for the engagement model for both on-shore and off-shore

  2. Work directly with our partners throughout the life-cycle of the engagement such as providing quotations and providing support for both the sub-contracting model and engagement model based on resources availability for both on-shore and off-shore

  3. Lead work efforts, execute and grow Consulting pipeline in assigned projects and target accounts

  4. Deliver the sold project margin goals by managing write-offs and staff assignments within the project budget

  5. Develop and manage delivery teams and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and with the highest quality

  6. Serve as the project escalation point for our clients

  7. Develop and maintain deep client contacts within our target accounts

  8. Achieve and maintain assigned certifications and needed credentials

  9. Serve as a role model in project management, best practice sharing, proactive actions and creative problem solving activities

  10. Mentor assigned team resources to develop their full potential, to ensure adoption of methodology and delivery of quality of work and to ensure that the company objectives are met

  11. Responsible for the overall recruitment process to acquire new talent and maintain synergy with the existing team’s DNA

  12. Responsible for the overall training process of the team to ensure that they keep up with the latest training and certifications that will benefit the organization




The person fit for this role is those that have proven experience in Professional Services delivery or business development, as well as having experience in one of our target industries (Financial, Healthcare, Insurance). He/she is a natural, fast-paced, proactive learner able churn out solutions and comfortable positioning him/herself as a leader. The person must be able to speak with confidence and clarity and can hold authority in conversations with C-level executives. This is a position for someone who is goal-driven and a challenge-seeking performer.

  1. Minimum Bachelor Degree (BS) (Business or Technical Degree is preferred)

  2. Fluency in English Language both oral and written is MANDATORY (possession of latest TOEFL/IELTS/TOEIC certificate is a PLUS)

  3. Minimum 10+ years’ of experience in a Professional Services delivery or Business Development role

  4. Well versed in one of our target industries (Financial, Insurance, Healthcare) is a plus

  5. Ability to achieve role-based certifications within 12 months of joining.

  6. Ability to complete Industry Specific Training within 12 months of joining.

  7. Experience in all phases of the software development delivery life cycle such as requirement gathering, design, build, testing and Go-live.

  8. Ability to implement SCRUM / AGILE delivery methodology is a plus.
